Criteria recorded once
We distinguish requirements from flexibility across technology, stage, size, geography, available equity and investment structure.
Romania · PV · Wind · BESS · Hybrid
Find projects aligned with your strategy, with enough information to decide what deserves further review. We identify and introduce Romanian energy projects against your criteria, with no commission for introductions.
Solar PV, wind, BESS and hybrid projects — from development to operational assets.
Share your investment criteria →Who this is for
For investors, IPPs, developers and authorised advisers looking to acquire Romanian PV, wind, BESS or hybrid projects.
No commission for project introductions. Legal advice, financing facilitation and implementation are optional services contracted separately. Availability and fit are confirmed individually; we do not promise a fixed number of projects.
The decision ahead
Two projects with the same capacity and an RTB label can have very different investment profiles. Land rights, grid position, outstanding conditions, SPV structure and the investment required to reach operation change what you acquire and the work remaining afterwards. A teaser opens a discussion; it does not conclude diligence.
We start with technology, capacity, stage, region, budget, timetable and exclusion criteria. The distinction between a development project, a construction-ready project and an operating asset matters for both selection and the review process.
Energy Century XXI SRL identifies and introduces relevant opportunities subject to availability and presentation authority. Buyers pay no commission for introductions. Legal advice, financing and implementation are optional; requesting projects does not imply accepting those services.
We distinguish requirements from flexibility across technology, stage, size, geography, available equity and investment structure.
We discuss why a project is relevant, what information exists and what must be confirmed. The projects map is not treated as sale inventory.
We distinguish screening from full due diligence and identify questions worth resolving before a larger commitment.
Legal, technical and financing support can be requested in the same enquiry. Scope, conflict checks and fees are separately agreed.
Steps and outputs
The process follows the project and mandate. At each stage we clarify what is known, what is missing and which decision comes next.
Information not yet known can be clarified later. The first enquiry does not require a complete VDR.
We clarify the investor profile, decision maker, budget and exclusion criteria. Ranges and information not yet confirmed can be a starting point.
Output: a usable search profile.
We identify flexibility and the factors that exclude a project: stage, technology, geography, capacity or structure.
Output: selection aligned with your strategy.
An interesting market project is not automatically for sale. Information is shared within an authorised introduction.
Output: a real basis for contact.
We present the context and organise the discussion. An NDA and a controlled channel are agreed for sensitive documents.
Output: information access proportionate to the stage.
Screening may identify land, grid or stage gaps. Full due diligence is a separate service when requested.
Output: the questions and review perimeter.
Price is considered alongside timing, financing, conditions precedent and remaining costs.
Output: an informed decision on the next commitment.
Legal, technical and financing support can be organised around the acquisition under separate scopes. Roles and deliverables are agreed rather than assumed.
Output: clearly allocated responsibilities.
When the situation changes
| Situation | What we clarify | What may follow |
|---|---|---|
| PV capacity does not distinguish MW AC from MWp | Clarify the technical basis and relate it to the project configuration. | Different capacity labels must not be compared as if identical. |
| RTB is declared, but outstanding conditions are unclear | Request the documents and conditions before treating the stage as verified. | Proceed conditionally, request remediation or exclude the project. |
| Geography fits, but grid assumptions change the economics | Clarify costs, timing and assumptions through the relevant analysis. | Reassess commercial fit before committing further resources. |
| The budget covers acquisition but not the remaining investment | Distinguish purchase price, costs to operation and financing needs. | The structure or selection criteria may need adjustment. |
| Essential information is unavailable from the seller | Identify what is missing and how it could be obtained. | Missing documents are not presented as positive verification; proceeding is not forced. |
Focus on construction-readiness evidence, outstanding conditions and post-transfer investment. An RTB description does not replace review.
Selection considers rights already secured, the remaining path and allocation of duties. Control, contributions and future exit enter the discussion.
Revenues, performance, contracts and existing obligations require context. An operating plant is not simply an RTB project with a later date.
PV · Wind · BESS · Hybrid
One coordination approach, with project information adapted to technology and stage.
MW AC and MWp must be distinguished. The project profile connects land, grid, permitting and remaining investment; operating assets also require generation and contractual context.
Capacity alone does not describe the project. Site, rights, studies, grid access and permitting conditions need development and execution context.
Power in MW, energy in MWh and duration are distinct. Import/export, grid access, configuration and revenue assumptions must be clarified for the specific project.
Consider components and their interface together: capacities, configuration, grid access, operating conditions and responsibilities. Adding two capacities does not fully describe a hybrid project.
Energy Century XXI SRL experience
Energy Century XXI SRL has delivered more than 25 successful project intermediations over the past two years. Its experience includes end-to-end coordination of the RTB projects and operating assets illustrated below.
The stated experience includes PV+BESS, standalone storage and operating solar assets. The configurations below illustrate projects intermediated end to end by Energy Century XXI SRL. Client identities and confidential mandate information are protected.
Past experience informs the process; your engagement is designed around your project’s own position.
| Configuration | Reported capacity | Reported stage | Confirmed role |
|---|---|---|---|
| PV + BESS | 77 MW PV · BESS 77 MW / 4h (308 MWh equiv.) | RTB | End-to-end intermediation |
| BESS standalone | 100 MW / 2h (200 MWh equiv.) | RTB | End-to-end intermediation |
| PV + BESS | 55 MW PV · BESS 55 MW / 4h (220 MWh equiv.) | RTB | End-to-end intermediation |
| BESS standalone | 135 MW / 2h (270 MWh equiv.) | RTB | End-to-end intermediation |
| PV / solar | 3 MW · 7 MW · 15 MW | Operating | End-to-end intermediation |
PV figures are reported in MW; the MW AC/MWp basis is clarified in each project file. For BESS, MW denotes power and hours the reported duration; equivalent MWh is calculated as MW × hours. These examples do not establish sale availability and are not an audit of project files; documents and identities remain confidential.
No. Land rights, permitting, grid documentation and remaining conditions must be reviewed together. We distinguish the declared stage from the stage supported by documents.
The map is a market-information resource. Inclusion does not establish availability for sale, a mandate or a right to present a project. Matching is based on actual availability and authority.
Your role, technology, capacity, location or investment geography, stage and objective. Select “I do not know yet” where appropriate. Sensitive documents follow only through an agreed private channel.
Yes. Select related services in one enquiry. Your contact details are recorded once; the optional workstreams and their fees are agreed separately.
No. Price, timing, buyer availability and financing decisions depend on the project, counterparties and diligence. Submitting an enquiry does not create a mandate.
Opportunities are published only with actual availability and presentation authority. Until then, selection follows your criteria; a catalogue is not populated with hypothetical projects.
No. No commission for introductions means that introduction is free to the buyer. Legal, technical, financing and implementation services are optional and separately agreed.
Criteria can be clarified as discussions develop. Changes in budget, stage or geography may also change the set of relevant opportunities.
